Bathroom Renovation Proposal For A Client in Thames

Hi Everyone!!

Thanks a lot for visiting my blog!!

Hope you guys have happy and lucky moments!!

Bathroom Remodeling

Japanese Client in Remote Area But We Want to Help!!

I would like to talk about a bathroom reno project that was consulted by a Japanese client in Thames, North Island.

She wanted us to help her as we are Japanese builders whom she can easily communicate, but unfortunately, Thames are a bit too far for us to come do the work.

But we wanted to help her so we talk to her via email, gathered information and finally proposed a reno plan.

Existing Bathroom

I first asked the client to give me a sketch and several photos to understand the current situation of the existing bathroom.

She was very helpful and here is the sketch she sent us.

This lovely sketch is wonderfully neat, clear and helped me so much!!

She also sent us several photos.

Very helful!!

Arigatou!! (‘Thanks’ in Japanese)

What The Client Wants

She wants to:

1 Replace the tub

2 Replace the sink with a new vanity

3 Place a new toilet somewhere

4 Whole refurbishment of the ceiling, wall and floor

The Proposed Plan

Here is our proposed plan.

According to my plan, I remove the existing shower box and put the new toilet as there is not enough space for the toilet. The new shower will be put above the bath tub.

The sink and tub will be replaced.

I also changed the side of the door hinge because the door should be open towards the wall otherwise it may hit someone inside the bathroom when another one opens it from outside.

Overall image is like this.

The client is happy with our plan.

She said to bring this plan to a few local traders and ask for quotes.

I really hope that she will find a good trader and have the bathroom beautifully renovated.

Okay, that’s it for today!!

Thanks a lot for reading!!!
